Quarterly Utilities

Utility bills are generated March 1st,  June 1st, September 1st, and December 1st
and are due the 30th of that month.
Utility bills may be paid at the Clerk's office, by mail
(120 College Avenue, PO Box 436, Britton, MI 49229), 
or you may deposit the bill and payment in the locked drop-box, located outside of the building, next to the north entrance.

PAY MY BILL

WATER RATES:  A single-family residence has a minimum charge of $50.00 for the first 5,000 gallons per quarter. Each additional 1,000 gallons is $10.00.

The meter rental for a single-family residence is $5.00 per quarter.


SEWER RATES: A single-family residence is $30.00 per quarter.

TRASH & RECYCLABLE RATES:
A single-family residence is $38.00 per quarter.
Trash and recyclables will be picked up every Wednesday
beginning at approximately 7:00 a.m.

RECYCLABLES  

Acceptable material includes: cardboard and paper bags, (no wax coating) paperboard (no wax coating), magazines and catalogs, junk mail, office paper, phone books, newspaper, plastic bags, pots and pans, steel and tin cans, aluminum cans, glass and plastics #1-#7 (see bottom of container for plastics type).

Unacceptable items include: paper milk or juice containers, Styrofoam containers/packing, garbage, propane tanks, paint cans, medical waste, flammable liquids, household cleaners,  chemicals (dry or liquid), and wood items.


Compost shall be placed in yard waste bags.

please contact Countryside Disposal at 734-850-1191.


BRUSH PICK-UP  In an effort to assist you with your yard brush, the Village DPW will pick up only BRUSH TRIMMINGS to chip, not full tree removal.

Please be aware that large amounts of brush left for chipping could subject you to a removal charge.

Brush should be at the curb by Monday for pick-up on the first and third weeks of the month.
